Time magazine gave readers a long list of famous folks -- celebrities, world leaders, innovators, icons and heroes -- and asked them to vote whether or not they should be included the annualTime 100 list of the most influential. Voting closes Friday, and Time will reveal the full list, including the most influential person, on April 17. So far, Adele ranks higher on the list than Shakira, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, President Obama, Hillary Clinton, George Clooney, Rihanna, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Oprah Winfrey and Queen Elizabeth II.
Who's above Adele in the voting? Ron Paul, Jeremy Lin, Russian president Vladimir Putin and British actor B enedict Cumberbatch of War Horse and Sherlock fame, among others. Number-one on the list is Anonymous, the collective name for a group of hackers who've attacked websites belonging to everyone from the Vatican to PayPal. Perhaps they've hacked the list and made themselves #1?
